About this shop
Artisan Upholstery of Central Florida is a selective studio undertaking custom furniture, designer upholstery, and heirloom restoration. The studio approaches each piece as functional sculpture, reconsidering restoration work to honor its origin while embracing contemporary taste. Work includes frame stabilization, seating rebuild, and hand-executed upholstery using traditional technique. Materials are sourced from heritage suppliers worldwide and presented as a curated selection matched to how the piece will be lived with. The studio maintains deliberately limited capacity and works by appointment only. Delivery includes white-glove installation. The studio declines projects prioritizing lowest cost, requiring same-day service, or involving furniture with little long-term value.
