Upholstery Finder/Add your shop

Add your shop

Send the address of your website to support@upholsteryfinder.com and it goes into the same queue as everything else here. There is no fee, no listing tier, and no way to pay for a better position, because there are no positions to buy.

What happens to it

Your site gets read the way every shop on here was read: the pages you publish about the work, in your own words, with the facts pulled out into the columns this site records.

Most of what I find never gets published. A shop earns a page when its own site says enough about the work to be worth reading. If yours is a single page with a phone number on it, there is not much for me to record, and I would rather hold it back than publish a page padded out to look full.

What helps

The most useful thing you can do is not to write to me at all, it is to put on your own site what you actually take on. Antique frames or not. Commercial seating or not. Whether you work with fabric a customer brings you. Whether you quote from photographs. Those are the questions people arrive with, and a site that answers them is a site I can build a full page from.

Corrections, and coming off

If you run a shop listed here and something's wrong, tell me and I'll fix it. If you'd rather not be listed at all, say so and the page comes down - I won't ask why and I won't try to talk you out of it. Corrections go live within seven days, and the date on the page resets when they do.
