About Upholstery Finder
I'm Jordan, and I run this on my own.
The idea's simple. Before anybody can tell you whether a shop is good, you need to know whether it will take your piece at all. An antique frame, a restaurant booth, a convertible top, a classic car's seats. Yelp and Houzz give you a star rating and a photo gallery. Neither one answers that.
So this site records what each shop says it does, in that shop's own words. Furniture workrooms and auto trim shops are different trades with different questions, so they get different sections and different columns. Nobody pays to be listed. Nobody can pay to move up a page.
What's in it
Two upholstery trades, listed separately, each recorded by the work its shops say they take on.
Texas is next, and the site is being built out state by state.
